Why Oregon Trail? It's the question we get asked most often. Belleville, Illinois is far from Oregon.
The Northwest is home to the coffee revolution in the United States and we wanted to evoke that sense of establishment and connection. It just so happens there is a direct line from the St Louis area, where we are located, to the Northwest--the Oregon Trail. Although the trail technically started in Independence, Missouri, most people got to Independence from St Louis, as depicted on this map. It's why the famous arch, celebrating westward expansion, is in St Louis and not Independence. Try some of our just roasted coffee and we think you'll agree: it's Coffee for the Long Haul™.
